2nd track i’ve made on the octatrack: some polish jazz samples, bass from novation bass station, additional keys from nord electro 3 and microkorg xl. jammed to and layered on ableton.

looks like a novation launchpad done right. finally. the whole idea behind this project falls nothing short of amazing: it started on kickstarter and thanks to a decent video demo and well-set reward tiers (a $200 pledge gave you the device and $375 gave you two units! before it hits the stores!) the project received over 1000% required funding and was officially kickstarted in early January. i’d call this mechanism ‘cloud financing’ and the fact it works really rocks my boat!
i’m not too keen on participating in grassroots initatives of any sort, so i’m more than satisfied with being a supportive observer of kickstarter (and thus - the quneo), but i’d really love for it to hit the shelves and i’ll probably cop a revised v2, i’m just wondering how much more expensive it’s gonna be.
i don’t usually post my own stuff here (except for photos), but I’m really proud of this one. enjoy.
